It all begins with a 15-20 minute briefing from one of our experienced instructors to ensure that you get the most out of the experience while taking every precaution to ensure your safety. After gearing up, you will take a short taxi ride and then board the airplane where you will enjoy a spectacular 15 minute flight as you climb to jump altitude.
As you get to the exit point, you will be securely attached to the front of your instructor. From there, all you need to do is enjoy the experience and take in the beautiful view as you freefall towards the beach at approximately 200 km/hour. Don’t forget to smile!
Once your main parachute deploys, you will enjoy an amazing 5-7 minute canopy ride, while taking in the breathtaking views over the magnificent Kenyan coastline, then finally landing back on the beach. Special Notes for Sky Dive in Vipingo Ridge-Kilifi
• Choose comfortable clothes for your Tandem skydive in Vipingo Ridge - skirts or dresses are not suitable. Shoes are not required but you will be walking over hot tarmac to get to the plane. Firmly tied sneakers are the best.
• You must be reasonably fit to skydive. You must be able to lift both your legs up for landing.
• People heavier than 100 kgs may not be able to skydive - please enquire.
• It is important not to scuba dive at least 24 hours prior to Tandem Skydive in Kilifi
• Anyone younger than 18, we will need their parent’s or legal guardians written consent to participate.
• Nobody under the influence of alcohol or drugs is permitted to skydive in vipingo ridge.
• Due to weather, air traffic and tides, etc - it could be a couple of hours between your booking time and actual dive.
• The operator for Vipingo Ridge Sky diving reserves the right to refuse any client for any reason. If so the client will be fully refunded from whoever they paid their booking to, less any transfer/bank fees.
