Day 1 :

Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Morning: Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Samburu National Reserve, located in the northern part of Kenya. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside. Afternoon: Arrive at Samburu in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. Afterward, relax and prepare for an afternoon game drive. Evening: Go on your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve, where you'll have the chance to spot unique species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 :

Explore Samburu game reserve

Morning: Early morning game drive to explore more of Samburu. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You may also visit the Ewaso Nyiro River, which is a lifeline for the animals in this arid region. Afternoon: Return to the lodge for lunch and some leisure time, or take an optional visit to a Samburu village to learn about the culture and traditions of the local people. Evening: Another game drive in the late afternoon to catch sight of animals as they become active in the cooler hours. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 :

Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

Morning: After breakfast, depart Samburu and begin the journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel from the arid north to the lush Rift Valley. Afternoon: Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. Afterward, embark on an afternoon game drive in the park, famous for its large population of flamingos and other bird species. Look out for the endangered white and black rhinos, as well as Rothschild giraffes and lions. Evening: Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

Morning: Enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This is an excellent time to spot predators such as lions and leopards. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast. Mid-Morning: Depart from Lake Nakuru and drive back to Nairobi, with a stop for lunch en route. Afternoon: Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where your safari ends. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
