Itinerary
On arrival at the JKIA airport, you will be met by our friendly guide who will escort you to your waiting vehicle. After
a small briefing, depart for Amboseli with packed lunch boxes with our safari minibus and guide. Arrival at the lodge in approximately 4 hours for dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Sentrim Camp or similar (L, D).
Morning and evening game drives. All meals and overnight stay at the Amboseli Sentrim Camp or similar (B, L, D)
Depart with packed lunch for Elementaita after breakfast. Optional: boat ride in Naivasha, nature walk around the Lake, or visit the nearby archeological site. Dinner and overnight stay at the Elementaita Sentrim Lodge or similarLake Elmenteita in Kenya's Great Rift Valley is a haven for birds and wildlife alike and is an important breeding site for many threatened bird species. Located between lakes Naivasha and Nakuru, Lake Elmenteita is one of the most important of the lakes of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, as it is the breeding and feeding ground for many threatened bird species.
The area was declared a Ramsar site in 2005. During the dry season, black lava islands provide the only suitable nesting and breeding grounds for the Great White Pelican in the Rift Valley region. The lake is a paradise for bird lovers as it has over 450 species, including migratory birds. Lake Elmenteita is part of the Soysambu Conservancy, founded in 2007. The lake shore is an important area for animals such as Zebra, Gazelle, Eland and Warthog - and a sanctuary for the rare Rothschild Giraffe. It also serves as a sanctuary for the nationally threatened colobus monkeys.
After breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara Game reserve. This is a world-renowned reserve, which stretches over 1510 sq km of open rolling grasslands, is watered by the Mara River and littered with an astonishing amount of wildlife. It is home to Africa’s famous “big five” (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo). Enjoy picnic lunch on the way and proceed for a game drive on arrival. Later, check in at the Mara Sentrim Camp or similar for dinner and overnight stay
Masai Mara is one of the most well known safari destinations in Africa! Together with the Serengeti it is home to some of the greatest concentrations of wildlife on Earth and is the stage for the Great Migration.
After breakfast, proceed on a full day game drive to search for the myriad species of game that make this reserve
their home.
The Masai Mara conjures images of wide sweeping savannahs teeming with up to 2 million Wildebeest closely followed by the predators,The Masai Mara National Reserve is part of the Mara - Serengeti ecosystem, which covers 25,000 Km2, and has fenceless borders with a number of private conservancies and Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park.
