The Extended 4×4 Safari Landcruiser is the flagship safari vehicle of Roaming Africa Tours and Safaris and the gold standard for premium East African game drives. The chassis is extended to give every guest a guaranteed window seat with extra legroom, while a custom pop-up roof gives unobstructed 360-degree photography during sightings of the Big Five, the Great Migration and rare predators. Inside, captain-style reclining seats, charging points for cameras and devices, a fitted cool box and a quiet air-conditioned cabin make the long transfers between Masai Mara, Amboseli, Samburu, Serengeti and Ngorongoro genuinely comfortable.

Built on the proven Toyota Landcruiser platform with high-clearance suspension and permanent 4×4 transmission, the Extended Landcruiser handles every type of East African terrain — black-cotton soil in the Mara, dust tracks in Amboseli, lava plains around Lake Natron and the steep crater descent into Ngorongoro. The vehicle is ideal for honeymoon couples, photographic safaris, small private families and groups of up to seven. Each unit is driven by an experienced English-speaking driver guide, fitted with high-frequency radios connecting our fleet in the field, fully NTSA-compliant and available for hire from Nairobi, Mombasa and Arusha.
